WHAT’S IN MY BAG?
It’s vacation season, and this year more than ever, people are heading out to celebrate summer! I have a few essential summer vacation items that I never travel without!

  1. Zinc Oxide Sunscreen: Many sunscreens are LOADED with chemicals. When we apply these chemical-laden sunscreens all over our bodies, that is a large surface area to very effectively absorb those chemicals right into your bloodstream. After repeated use, these chemicals can build up in your bloodstream and potentially cause harmful effects. So be careful! Avoid oxybenzone at all costs because it is a suspected hormone-disrupting chemical and is present in 40% of sunscreens available in the US. Check out EWG.org to find the safest brands according to the trusted Environmental Working Group. Zinc Oxide is always my go to!
  2. Vitamin C: Many things that go along with vacation (excessive sun exposure, alcohol consumption, processed and fried foods) can cause oxidative stress which ultimately leads to cell damage both internally (leading to chronic disease) and externally (visible damage to our skin). That is why I always take EXTRA precaution on vacation to protect my body from the effects of oxidative stress. My favorite SYNC product for this is “C plus Biofizz” which is a delicious orange flavored powder rich in Vitamin C and other antioxidants to protect your body and your skin from the harmful and visible signs of oxidative stress.
  3. Hydration: Changes in altitude, sweating and sun exposure among other factors commonly lead to dehydration. I always carry SYNC’s Hydrate powder with me when I travel. It’s a convenient and delicious way to make sure I stay hydrated on vacation! 1 scoop in water gives me a well-balanced profile of minerals, electrolytes and vitamins to continue to feel by best!
  4. SYNC Pack: Last and certainly not least, MY SYNC PACK! Convenient, Customized and Science-Based, my SYNC Pack travels with me everywhere I go. Now, let’s get really personal: What’s in my SYNC Pack you ask?! Here is what my Cellular Nutrition Test revealed that I was low in and what is now in my daily SYNC Pack:

My Morning Pack: Essential Minerals, Flax Oil, L-Serine, N-Acetyl-Cysteine (NAC), Pantothenic Acid, Trifolamin, Vitamin A, Acetyl Carnitine, Vitamin E, Berberine/Alpha Lipoic Acid, B Complex, Burn and Shyne

My Evening Pack: Ashwaghanda, DHEA, DIM, Fish Oil 1000, Mag Glycinate, Multi SYNC Probiotic

I hope you have the best summer ever and remember to keep your well-being in mind when traveling.
